lol no thanks, we had Farron first and we were close to getting rid of him. But he missed a scheduled raid night and left anyway.

He didn't do bad, not by a long shot. Was our best DPS at the time. It was his attitude. He once spent an entire turn arguing with someone in the raid for the entirety of Turn 2, scrolling through battle logs and such arguing with the other.
His attitude made us on the balancing pole of dismissing him from the team, but he left himself when he didn't show up for a scheduled raid night and so we were forced to pull a back-seater and go on. This was before Twintania had even been attempted I believe, it was early on in the game's life cycle that's for sure.
Since he didn't like he had been replaced for that night (despite not turning up for the entire night), he left by his own decision. I can respect it.

They are just linking another one with their names on to proof the kill?

It's a free-company server progression thread, not groups. As Sickkiee said, they'd already been posted before.
