I dislike this idea, because it segregates first timers into a smaller pool and caters to the jackass speedrunners who can't be decent human beings to others.
If anything, speed runners need to form their own groups and stop being so annoying.

I totally agree. I only mentioned it (which would group first-timers AND anyone else who does not mind normal runs, not sure how small that pool is) because I figure it's easier to add a checkbox than making jackasses to stop acting like jackasses (and to be fair, I understand why people would want to speedrun, so this gives them a tool to avoid the awkward/hostile situation of confronting/kicking someone for not wanting to speedrun)... Plus it would come in handy in other end-game dungeons where people get kicked if they so much as hesitate to skip a cutscene.
Is there something wrong with the duty finder? I'm a healer with a tank, we have been on que for 30 minutes. It says we have the party ready but it says "reserving instance". Is there's something wrong with duty finder? It's our first time doing this.
Probably because a lot players are trying to do the same thing and reserve a space to play it
After doing a couple of runs, I can definitely understand OP's sentiments about why speed running this dungeon is more preferred than fighting all the mobs to get to bosses. Just not worth it.

They could "fix" speed runs by having mobs drop tombstones....
I dunno, it is what it is...personally IDC lol XD
