Garuda in 7minutes! Thank you to my DF party :)

I was having a really bad luck with Garuda parties, first 2 parties were terrible and we just kept wiping for the whole time, but then magic happened! On my 3rd try (magical) I was finally with some decent people who obviously knew how to handle this (and a tank who didn't get two shot for a change) and we totally rocked Garuda's feathers off in 7min. I also managed to get it all on my twitch.tv

I have had some really good ones too. Most people comment on/remember the horrible ones more though.

I've actually had only one bad experience with the duty finder myself. Every other dungeon and boss I've done has been with great people who were either willing to learn or teach, and stuck with things until we got them right.

The difference is most people complaining are having bad experiences with the endgame dungeons, because people are farming them and want perfection every time for their own efficiency. Those doing the lower level ones are doing so for the story or to see what's out there, or just for fun, and are thereby either more relaxed or simply need a victory instead of perfection.

Hopefully when I get back on, I'll be able to beat Garuda. We always wipe during reckoning, despite being behind a tall rock pillar.

Just beat Garuda. Our tank was a first timer, but he followed our instructions (me and my girlfriend's) and we succeeded after about 30 minutes in. His in-game name is Vannes Mercer. I didn't get a chance to ask what server he was from but he did really good and improved each time we wiped.

My FC tends to run stuff together, but at least half of the time, we're short a healer so we end up just going with DF randoms to fill the slot. The tank we run with is awesome, marks targets and everything! LOL. We tend to get a lot of praise as a result of it not being a cluster****. As sad as it is that there's so many bad groups out there, it's nice to at least give a good experience for the random DF user from time to time. Maybe, in the long run, it'll help motivate people to be a little more social and form (semi) static groups.
