I'm guessing most people are just being phished through e-mail. I don't think SE would ever ask for your account information, so if you ever type it in anywhere, make sure you are really on the official site and not a spoof version intended to collect your personal account information.

What spybot does is patch your browser to prevent spyware from rooting in your system but yeah spybot does need to run manually same with malwarebytes but its work running it once a week and updating it

Well yeah you wouldn't use that by itself. But in addition to an av program like ms security essentials it adds another layer of protection against malware.

In fact if anyone has a virus or adware they cant get rid post here too I see if I can help you but usually the programs I listed will get rid of most of them
