    Sprint is too punishing for MNKs, DRGs and Tanks. Suggestion to improve it

    Sprint would be a very handy tool in pretty much any dungeon fight. But Spring eating all your TP in one go is absolutely crippling for melee and tanks alike.. both roles whom arguably need it the most, especially tanks.

    Casters do not have this problem, they don't use TP for anything else, so why is it a free bee for them but a kick in the groin for TP classes?

    Please remove the up-front cost of Sprint, and instead make Sprint an ability that you can toggle on to gain the speed buff, slowly draining your TP while running, then switch it off when you're out of harms way. Instead of eating ALL your TP in one go, for a buff that often lasts much longer than you really need it.

    Just a suggestion to make Sprint a more practical tool in dungeon combat.

    Sprint was designed as an escape button for people in case they could not win the fight. The only time you should be using sprint in a dungeon is to get back to where you first wiped otherwise no change is needed to this ability.

    Doesn't matter what it was designed for, in it's current design it's an easy and free to use mobility tool for healers and caster dps, while unecessarely punishing for TP users.

    If they only wanted people to use it to run from quest mobs and corpse run, then they would not allow the use of Sprint in dungeon boss battles, so apparently they want us to use it there as well.

    easy answer, dont use sprint in boss fights

    square designs the fights to give you enough time to run out if you are paying attention. not to get an extra auto-attack on your way back in.

    Would make more sense to drop caster mp to zero along with tp? Its obvious what the intended role of sprint was but it seems casters were just an oversight.

    I'm fine with this, as long as they also make it so that physical DPS cant move while doing an attack or it gets "interupted".
