Guild Tasks?

The TASK BOARDS are found in the Adventurers' Guild, and There are 19 Eorzean Guilds, so im sticking with 19.
It's not 1 per adventurer's guild.

I wish people would stop trying to pretend like they're absolutely sure which guilds are being referred to, because you don't know 100%. Translations can be wonky and information can get a bit misconstrued sometimes. For instance, the German translation seems to hint that they are, in fact, referring to the disciplinary guilds.

Only a little over two hours of maintenance left...let's just wait it out and see.

Well the patch notes does specifically say adventurers guilds. The boards in the adventurers guilds give tasks from the separate guilds. and it does say one task per guild per day, which could mean per class guild, not per adventurers guild. (Hmmm.)

there are 19 different guilds, but only 3 different adventurer's guilds. And only the adventurer's guilds have the task boards, therefore you can only do 3 per day. If the discipline guilds had task boards, you can make the argument that 19 a day can be done, but since this is a task board quest, you have to go off the guilds where the task boards are located. There you have it.

This does not say "when turned in"...it says "at time of completion". This could very well mean that whatever class you are when you finishing stabbing the 8th Dodo gets the SP. Anything else doesn't make sense to me. Why would the game let me run around as an r41 lancer and let me use that to rank up my r15 alchemist...?


It also says the "tasks of Eorzea's guilds"...which may very well end up equating to the guilds posts tasks at the adventurer's guild that you can perform. (ie...go collect ore and bring it to the miner's guild). This would get characters of any class to interact with all of the different guilds in various ways.

Stay in class. It couldn't have been written more clearly. Its 19 guilds, i.e., 19 quests per day, quote me on it if you'd like after the patch goes live.

After re-reading the patch note on it, Im leanin back towards one task per class guild per day.
