Guild Tasks?

Well the patch notes does specifically say adventurers guilds.

Which only serves to tell you where these quests can be obtained. As Mack noted above, they separated Adventurers' Guilds from Eorzea's guilds, most likely for a reason. And as for the German translation:

Indem man die Anschlagbretter in den Abenteurergilden der verschiedenen Stadtstaaten untersucht, kann man dort ausgeschriebene Aufgaben für die verschiedenen Gilden annehmen.

roughly translates to, "By examining the notice boards in the various city-states, one can undertake the posted tasks for the various guilds."

I wish people would stop trying to pretend like they're absolutely sure which guilds are being referred to, because you don't know 100%. Translations can be wonky and information can get a bit misconstrued sometimes. For instance, the German translation seems to hint that they are, in fact, referring to the disciplinary guilds.

Only a little over two hours of maintenance left...let's just wait it out and see.

Stay in class. It couldn't have been written more clearly. Its 19 guilds, i.e., 19 quests per day, quote me on it if you'd like after the patch goes live.

Curious to see how much SP we'll be getting from these. Hopefully lots.

Obtaining and delivering the requested items will yield both rewards and skill points (awarded to the active class at time of completion).

Assuming there will be 19 guild tasks corresponding to the 19 class guilds, then i would assume you can turn them in on 1 class over & over.
I wouldn't expect more than 2,000SP per turn in, or around that.

But we have to see what the tasks are first and if they require more than one person to complete. Maybe they will have the good ol difficulty selector.
