Guild Tasks?

1.17 was 325 mb and 1.17a is 327 mb. The patch notes have the dev tags for more storyline/world quests and grand company related quests. Looks like there must be quite a few of them since there's not much else in the patch notes!

It makes me wonder if there isn't a lot of "behind the scenes" patching going on. After all, SE said patches 1.7 and 1.7a would include some groundwork for the mid and high-level raid dungeons, but how could you tell?

Only 1 guild was mentioned in the notes, Adventurers' Guild. So there you go, 1 task per day for each city. 3 tasks completion as any class.

People misunderstand that the size of the patch does not in any way denote how much content is on its way. A lot of that contains replacement data for what was already in the game to fix problems or expand on something a bit.

would be good if there were class guild tasks too tho.

I wish people would stop trying to pretend like they're absolutely sure which guilds are being referred to, because you don't know 100%. Translations can be wonky and information can get a bit misconstrued sometimes. For instance, the German translation seems to hint that they are, in fact, referring to the disciplinary guilds.

Only a little over two hours of maintenance left...let's just wait it out and see.

Well the patch notes does specifically say adventurers guilds. The boards in the adventurers guilds give tasks from the separate guilds. and it does say one task per guild per day, which could mean per class guild, not per adventurers guild. (Hmmm.)
