Secondary Monitor Issues (no switching possible)

I have in my current setup 2 Monitors - one is my 27 inch primary Monitor, the other one my Big Screen TV. So now I want to play the game on my TV in 1080p with the Gamepad and I am encountering several issues.

I set the right resolution, borderless 1080p (1920x1080) and change the screen in the options menu. It tells me a restart is needed. I restart the game and the game starts again on my primary Monitor (27 inch one) and not the TV. The only way I can play the game on the TV is making it my primary Monitor and then start the game.

I am using an nvidia GTX 780 with driver Version 320.49.

Another issue is, that the text is not big enough to read it on my TV if I sit 3 meters away from it. I already put most of the HUD to max size but the text can only be changed for the Chat, and I'd like to have Questtext bigger as well. Any Option to change this?

    Kind regards,
    Mycrosys

Not wanting to be impolite, but your comment doesn't help me very much.

Sorry about that, you will need to provide more information what type of setup do you have for you dual screens? Are they independent, extended, cloned?

I don't think you can move it because you set it up as borderless. Windows will always start programs on the primary display first. As for the font being too small, there is an option to change the font size for larger screen. You have to do this on larger tv's because you are looking at a wider area and usually from more of a distance. Thus, the font is harder to read

The option is there so it is started on that monitor. Also, there are games that offer you to start them on another monitor - Saints Row 3 being one of them. I do admit this option is rare - however, why would there be the option in the game to start it on another screen, if it would not be possible?

There's no option to change the font in the Game as far as I can see (except for the Chat window) and the Window Setting does not apply to games.

Extended, main screen runs on 1440p (DVI) while TV is 1080p, connected via HDMI. All other Applications run fine (XBMC, Steam Big Picture, Saints Row 3 etc.) it's just that the FF14 Option for this does only start the game on the primary Monitor.

Use the shortcut windows key + shift + left or right arrow. I use borderless window mode and I can switch between monitors no problem.

Another option! I know it might not apply to you, but it might apply to someone else. Crossfire mode DOES NOT support two monitors when its on.

Just got it working by using window - moving it over, setting it to borderless then ending the game. Seems like it remembers the last Monitor it was closed on and starts it on that one.

Tested that Windows Funktion and this works as well.

Now there's just the issue with the text being too small. Anyone got an idea how to fix that?
