Best JP server for english speaking players

I have some issues with joining up with some friends for playing some FFXIV. We can't all seem to get on the server at the same time or someone can't even create a character. We've tried switching servers several times, but someone always gets locked out.

we all have lvl25+ characters on different servers, but rather than server transfer, we are looking at starting over on a JP server together... We plan on streaming our adventures and the JP servers seem stable enough for it, but with the odd number of people we have playing, being able to chat with non-known party members is a must.

I've searched but can't find a definite JP server that most english speaking players prefer.

Can anyone help?

I've heard a lot of Australians congregate on Tonberry, so there are probably a lot of English speakers there.
