    Personally I want them to remove assignments by the player and implement the Blue Mage Stat assignments from FFXI where what skills you have equipped determined your stats.
    What skill you had didn't determine your stats it just added to them, and gave you new traits like double attack or fast cast.

    I would like to see a hybrid of FFXI and the current system. I love the idea of a physical level, but I hate the point allotment system. I think that they should just get rid of the point allotment system and instead just use predefined stats based on the class rank and race. The physical level could give a bonus on top of these predefined stats. I really liked how in FFXI each race could play anything but was slightly better at a certain set of jobs. I would also like to see it much harder to level the physical level.

    Can't express this enough we really need to either have allotment point saved to each job or just remove physical levels entirely. As of now bonus stats such as str and dex from equipment are pretty much obsolete since they both play a minor role in combat should either give us set stats based on classes or make str, dex, pie, and int more useful.

    They already said they are getting rid of the plvls and making you do stats for every job based on rank.

    Agreed, I am sick of how your stats from gear etc.. is pretty much useless. I want to see these bonuses in dmg,def and so on. So I can't wait for them to get rid of the phy lvl and give jobs/classes the stats they should have. Assigning points is lame if it don't make any difference in performance period, just makes you feel like you have some control over your character which you really don't.

    I like the physical levels and the way it helps define our character, as well as the point allotment system. However, I do think that they save stats on a per discipline basis. In other words, you have an automatically saved/retrieved point allotment for all of your Disciple of War classes, another separate allotment for Disciples of Magic, another of Disciples of the Hand, and one allotment for Disciples of the Land that are all applied automatically when you change to one of those classes. The reassign would work just like it currently does, except it would per-discipline, as well.

    This would give us a tad more ability to customize, would hopefully discourage people simply opting for the optimum allotment for each class, and providing convenience that the current system lacks.

    I know the system doesnt work as it should right now, but if that was fixed and lets say every 1 DEX for example equal 2, 5 or 10 acc crit %, etc and 1 VIT equals 2, 5, 10 hp, damage reduction %, i dont know as it was with FF XI, wouldnt be great having the freedom to customize those stats as you see fit with a cap in every rank? thats the way i see they were planning the system worked i dont know why they couldnt make it work.

    But i see a lot of potential in a system like that because the gear will still have a lot of importance and the character growth will differ a little base on the gear stats and type of growth each one want, some archers would prefer hitting more and have lesser attack and viceversa.

    People want points allocation to be class specific, fine, but let's not take away Physical level. Let's just change what bonus is given by physical level.
