Honestly, I just hope they don't remove the control we have over our characters.
There is no control actually, there is very little. Removing physical levels and alloting points specifically based on your class rank could prove to be better.
If you look at the current stat formulas, there begins to be severe diminishing results after 110/120 points. With the formulas simplified, after some testing you will be able to have a more open offensive or defensive character design rather than just capping out VIT/MND and putting whatever is left into STR/DEX PIE/INT due to really.... not needing much to get the job done.
You might think that you are "more powerful" when ranking a new class and you'd be right. However, your offensive allotment is pretty much the same in a way in your late 30's as your R50. Meaning, your soft cap at those ranks are when you start to really see those diminishing results and you should just be putting everything in VIT or MND or both at that point. The only thing left is player rank vs mob rank difference, but that is an entirely different story of imbalance.
