    Ps3 Fate lag

I'm unable to load large character models during fates on the ps3. It works fine on my pc so it's not an internet issue. I have a launch ps3. I get bad lag when a lot of models are on the screen which I can deal with, but whenever there's a named fate spawn it's dead before it even loads on my screen. Anyone have anything that that can help, I've already turned off skill animations for everyone including myself.

Given the limited amount of RAM and capabilities of the HDD in the PS3, this is to be expected. PS4 will make things a lot better. In the meantime, go to your settings and turn off all battle effects for players outside your party, that should help things out some.

This has nothing to do with the PS3's "limited" RAM. You don't understand the problem. The PS3 first loads player models first then it loads enemy models, so when you come upon a densely populated FATE event, you see players pop onto the screen first attacking an invisible non-selectable target. Eventually it does load enemy models but it's often to late, especially if it's one large target with a 30 players attacking it.

Yeah i would think an easy solution would be to change the order to load enemies first, then players, and lastly non-enemy npcs

Yeah, I'm sure an increase of RAM from 256MB to 8GB would be so ill-beneficial... Sarcasm.

Anyway, to the OP, once more to reiterate my valid and sound point: PS4 will make this game run smoother and a quick fix right now is to turn off the battle effects.

That's besides the point. Paying customers deserve to play this content. If the product could not perform on the platform as intended, then it should not have been released.
