GEAR SET ISSUES, NOT SAVING PROPERLY! :(

Hello just to ask I don't know what's going on but I cannot save more than 4 gear sets, I am trying to equip my new Armorer class, its number 5 in slot and even if i re-range set number to each gear, i only stick with 4. I even make sure i save it by confirming to update and assign, this is with the menu in the character screen, i haven't tried saving the sets to my hot bar to see if i can save more than 4. It also doesn't save edited gear names when i type something new or change the level, and finally i noticed when i first got the game at launch my gear sets weren't changing level number automatically, like if i were to be lever 8 it will only change to a higher level until i'm 15 if i were a 12 in a certain class.

I'm not sure I follow you. If you only have four slots, how can you save a slot five at all? Slots are not saved in the hotbar; you can place slots you have on the hotbar but that simply gives you fast access to them, it doesn't change or save the slots themselves.

Gear sets are gear, not character. The level noted in the set isn't your character's level in that class, it's the minimum required level of the primary weapon/tool recorded in the gear set.

No NO, I mean in the menu screen not the hot bar in your commands like when attacking or placing it to an assigned hot bar list. When I open Character menu and select the + sign it says gear set 1 ,2 ,3 and so forth depending on how many you can save and view. in not talking about saving them to you hot bar its the character menu gear set list window im having issues with.
