When I shouted and asked how else can we view in-game time if not relying on the sun that's going around the minimap compass. 1 person shouted a detailed answer, while 2 more people sent tells explaining nicely.

I notice that whenever someone ask for some info, so many people are willing to help. This is how it always is in FFXIV for me. Love it.

Haha, I hope I count as nice. I play a SCH and will be leveling a CNJ/WHM soon and tend to run dungeons a LOT... not really for me, the EXP isn't great, but because it helps the DF pop more for people and I know a lot of the instances really well by now and do what I call 'the Tour Guide'. I teach new people the strats and point out where to get the extra chests when I know them. Not everyone seems to care, but those that take the info to heart and have easy runs, get to continue the story, etc... makes it worth it. I esp love the parties that talk and joke around. I got one group singing the Mulan 'I'll Make A Man Out of You' song once near the end of Brayflox. Loved it.

I played with Rokien the other day, probably one of the nicest person I've ran into. Despite his forum shenanigans

I've said it before. Rokien is a real nice person. He just has some really bad ideas when it comes to game design.

For some reason, my duty finder PTs are always better when I'm not the only Lalafell. I'm sure that's totally coincidence and not because we're the master race.

Playing with a premade, but we had to pick up our healer. This was for Qarn, we only had two deaths the entire instance, once on the healer from doom and once on me because the lasers lined up in such a way I was doomed.
Chillest party ever, before the last boss we all took a couple minutes to get snacks and such. Sadly our PUG healer was from another server, and I was sad.

I say hello with a smile every single dungeon run I go in with DF, I usually try to joke around poking mobs and various other emotes while in dungeons just to make things stay light and fun I always play my roles to the fullest and if ever a wipe occurs I make sure I am one of the first ones to comment and reinforce positivity saying things like 'we'll get 'me this time!' and making sure if a healer or tank apologizes for anything they think they screwed up I say 'no worries ' or 'we all have bad fights sometimes, don't beat yourself up'. If ever someone responds negatively they usually don't say anything else after I have said something and if they do i make sure to tell them to lighten up because we have all been there before

This, today five people helped me when I asked how to blacklist Gil Spammers :P.

Honestly, the community in "Phoenix" is most of the time very quiet, but when you do ask for help, they reply and are very helpful.

I have to say, ever since early access, i've only seen one person say "alt-f4" when someone asks a question. Far more helpful and respectful answers. In many other games, i'd see several for each question. I'm not sure it will last, but it's nice to see.

I love this thread. I'm glad to hear a lot of good Duty Finder stories, too. You always hear about the jerks, but I'd honestly take the weirdness that happened to me recently with a tank that kept running back toward us mages with the mobs, and the several wipes/near-wipes any day, because everyone was nice and we chatted and had fun.
Actually, so far, I've only gotten nice groups so far, and I really hope it stays that way.
Another cool thing I've seen, and I try to do myself now, is when Conjurers/White Mages/Arcanists/whatever hang around solo instance battle points, raising people who died inside and have to try again. I once saw someone do this for a couple of hours outside of where that level 15 quest with the gargoyle and whatnot happens.

Yes! Love the attitude! There are indeed nice people to be found in this game. Some of them aren't even cats!

I haven't dungeoned yet, but so far in the world it's been nice. People don't even freak out when I RP my character, over all I've been having a good time on all 5 of my servers from beta to and through launch. :3

I have been lucky so far and haven't run I to any jerks on my runs. Ran into a lot I na players tho but with polite communication we always figured stuff out and ended up finishing whatever run we were doing. One run we wiped about 10 times but still no one ever got rude or have up. We just used a different tactic each time till we finally beat it.
