How to filter *out* selecting those damn carbuncles... :(

I for one am sick of the seemly millions of carbuncles that get in the way...

When trying to particpate as a arcanist (or any spellcaster) in FATE's that have multiple enemies is difficult because all my character ever does is select other people's carbuncles.

That being said is there a way to filter out selecting others carbuncles/summons? I already have minions deselected, but unfortunately this doesn't apply to summons. I play with an xbox controller so "just clicking on the enemy" isn't really an option, it's akward juggling a mouse and a controller XD

There is not a way right now to hide carbys. An alternate method would be getting in the enemies face or going into first person view and try tanking that way.

Damn. I don't really have much of a problem when I am using a fighter class, because you're close to the enemy. It's just when using spellcasters, it's a pain in the ring. Okay, thanks anyway. Hopefully they'll add summons to the checklist

If you are playing as a DD in the fates you need to try setting up your targetting filters in the character options, they are amazing. You can change what filter you are using by holding left bumper and hitting one of the 4 a,b,x,y buttons. I set up a simple "enemies only" filter for fates so when i scroll targets it only selects enemies. For healing it is still a pain but they are working on a way to make it better like lowering carby priority over players.
