    This is the most ridiculous statement I have heard people say. Honestly. I never have a problem claiming mobs. I do have a problem with botters and level 50 farmers being jerks. To say "Claim faster" doesn't solve the problem, but only shows that you are part of the problem.

    I can't believe how rude people are anymore these days. Uh...

    No they don't - in 1.0 they spawned pretty quickly, here though? They spawn at a pretty slower pace than you'd figure. I clocked many mobs especially for the contested items to respawn in 45 seconds to 1.2 minutes. A 'matter of seconds" would be near instant respawn.

    Sadly though, this is the outcome of people complaining from 1.0 in terms of world mobs.
