Seems like good things, compared to FFXI it's so much easier.
Why do so many complain and want their jobs to involve standing around like a zombie![]()

that's not what I'm asking for wtf
I'm not playing on my mobile/gameboy
e.g. tank/DPS taking adds' AoE -> paralyze
must be the dutyfinder for me then... >.<
The problem with the actual AoE-effect and the cast of the boss is astonishing.
It can happen that you are 10m away from the AoE zone and you get the attack, nevertheless you were outside of it in the right time. This is something, that breaks real "boss" or game mechanics in every way.
Shown effect and cast MUST be synchronic.
I have this problem with the AoE zones, get hit even if I'm miles away, doesn't happen all the time but more often then I'd like. I have no FPS or latency issues.
This is actually a problem on the server level and it affects everyone whether they realize it or not. The server runs checks every 0.3 seconds for things like your current position and HoT/DoT ticks, so there's a weird fuzzyness to skills. I can start moving sometime within the last half second of a cast and not have it interrupt the spell. I've actually gotten way too used to this. It's listed as a known bug but we don't have any more info than that, to my knowledge.
The only issue I have with healing in FFXIV is Esuna.
It cures debuffs in the order they are listed, so if you only really want to get rid of the worst one for that particular class or situation, which is, say, the third one listed, you'd have to cast Esuna at least 3 times before you can get rid of it, and chances are it'd already have had its full effect by then and disappeared on its own.
I'd prefer a system more similar to WoW, where cleanse does cure every Curse and Magic ailment, but has an 8 sec CD.
Going back to Amdapor Keep on that Demon Wall, I find that the healer cannot make up for party members collectively getting hit by the floors about five times (no longer healer's fault) before the bees spawn.
The worst timing is when party members are hit by the floor just before the bees spawn. At which point, it's usually a wipe.
The alternative is when party members are so focused on the bees that they get hit by the floor AND the bee AoE, which case = wipe.
Love WHM but I will agree something should be done about stoneskin. I wish it was a group buff out of combat and single target in combat. I've done every dungeon and that's the only thing I see eye to eye with you on.
The problem with level 50 is there are too many elitists running dungeons through duty finder and they ruin the game. Just today a friend was begging me to finish leveling so he can bypass 80% of the attitude he meets in dungeons. If a level 50 isn't going to stick around for buffs they become my last priority in healing. If someone is being a jerk, well you are a WHM and can be queued up again in two seconds. Don't let it get to you. Find a FC to run dungeons with.
Regarding stoneskin: While the buff is not as good as it could be It's still not entirely useless. There tons of situations where you can apply stoneskin when nobody takes damage to prevent incoming damage later.
For demonwall: DPS will complain for not getting heals. Ironically, you don't even have to heal even once if the dps don't take dmg during the first two rounds of the ground AoE. It's until the adds spawn that you take dmg. Then it gets back to faceroll again.
Eduna: I never encountered an issue with this spell where it left me disappointed. Actually, I kinda like the fact that Esuna is on a cast time. Making it more hurtfull to actually geta debuff since you can't always dispell due to movement.
