    After send 4 support mail SE don't even give me an proper answer and fix...

    I was mail support 4 times of my 2 problem and they close 3 of my ticket without fixing anything

    and this is my 4th attempt to mail support and this is what i got.

    1. 1.0 Player non legacy that brought 2.0 CE and cannot register a product key into the current service since they already register once back in 1.0,

    why do i have to upgrade for another $20 if i already paid for?

    and this is answer i got from SE...

    Did they even bother read my mail at all?
    My problem is not a INCORRECTLY REGISTERED SERVICE ACCOUNT!!

    Second problem that i tell them in the same mail is every payment attempt always have
    "error401"
    with all my card and even paypal cannot make a payment...

    and they not even fix or answer this problem or mention anything...

    Brutal! I'm having the same issue and I totally agree. I refuse to repurchase or "upgrade" the game when I already purchased the game in 2010. It's not our fault they released a broken product. We shouldn't have to shell out more money just to play the "fixed" version. It seems like the 1.0 players are getting swept under the rug, this seems to be a wide spread issue yet they haven't even acknowledged it as an actual issue.

    I submitted my first ticket Aug 24th - 2 weeks ago, and still nothing. I'm giving them 1 more week which I think is pretty damn generous. If I'm not able to play by then I'm giving up, deleting the game and may never purchase a product from SE again.

    If you had 1.0 Standard, you get 2.0 Standard download for free. Just reactivate your service account.
    If you had 1.0 Collector's you get 2.0 Collector's download for free.

    If you had 1.0 Standard and want 2.0 Collector's there are only two ways to achieve that:
    1) Digital Upgrade
    2) PS3 CE registered to same service account


    One service account can only hold one Windows version and one PS3 version of the game, which is why it's not possible to upgrade a 1.0 Standard to collector's using a 2.0 PC Collector's key.

    If you are in the situation that you have 1.0 Standard and bought 2.0 Collector's PC version and want to upgrade your 1.0 account, I recommend selling the 2.0 key and using some of the money you get on the digital upgrade.

    And that's just plain stupid and unacceptable. That is NOT customer service. What they should do is ask for your Physical CE code, flag it as used(that way they know you can't sell it to someone or give someone the game for free) and provide you with a code that upgrades your account to a Digital CE then since they apparently can't fix their account system. That way they are happy, they got their money, and the customer is happy as they actually get what they paid for.

    I have had similar experiences with Square Enix CS. I have tried for about 3 weeks, by chat, phone and email. All of which I have failed. I have been giving the feeling I am running through endless loops with NO prize at the end.

    Phone service? Make me wait for an hour and disconnect me.
    "Live" Chat? Makes me wait in like for 2 hours and tell me "no available agents"
    Email support? Close my ticket after 48 hours for my first try, no response whatsoever in the next 2 tries.

    I think by now I am seriously sick of this shit. It has been THREE WEEKS and all I have gotten are automated responses and not even an actual support representative.

    I am going to the media with this poor customer service. A company of this scale should not be able to wasting customer's time like this for a support from a product in which we have paid for.

    The total time I have spent waiting for support/server queues is almost as much time i have spent with the game, and I find that pretty messed up...

    Nekodar hit the nail on the head, no one is forcing you to pay again, just look around a bit before freaking.
