    The limit on posting is very very annoying in these forums and we should all just ignore the official ones and use an unofficial forum for talks like this. You are presuming I have not done or is able to predict patterns which is false, I have been doing dungeons just to help out peeps get by them as they are having trouble with tanks etc.

    You are missing the point with your blind defense of the situation and ignoring what I am saying. Go back read my previous post as an edit was the only way I could reply to you at the time.

    Getting around crappy mechanics or technical issues does not equate skill and that is what I am saying.

    Like others are saying this is more than likely due to server side checks as it is not all client side, and we all know why it isn't client all side heh!

    ok so I am from a european guild (Black Horizon on Shiva) and we have like 110-140ms to the servers (ping 184.107.107.176) and we managed to kill this boss tonight. Our blackmage died in the middle of the heart phase and we were not able to ressurrect him for longer than ~10seconds. So yeah, we basically did the boss with 7 people, had like 8 stomps in the end and only 3 people survived this madness.

    Now Coeurl is an american server so you shouldn't have the same amount of lag as we do -> it's not unkillable, just annoying as f.... :/

    I have 300 ping and I still rarely get hit by a move on Titan (and I actually dps on it) but I'm not going to deny that the game has very obvious problems just to act like I'm a hardcore top skill player in a very low skill cap MMO.

    You can't defend the client-server desync in this game. Just because the fights are possible despite it doesn't mean it shouldn't be fixed.

    I only tanked the fight for one of the four times we killed him. I did "put it in to practice" by calling out everything titan was going to do before he did it on VOIP, allowing my FC and myself to dodge his abilities in the last phase much more consistently.

    I'm not saying that the lag situation isn't messed up, because it is. I'm just saying if you want to beat titan as the situation stands right now, then it REALLY helps to anticipate this stuff before it happens. Hopefully SE fixes this problem soon.

    A realm reborn is not so much about you responding on mechanics the game shows you, but understanding how to work around the flaws caused by poor coding.
    You play with a delay regardless where you from.
    Of course next to poor latency masking having a high ms isn't helping either.


    Back on the beta board people voiced their concern, SE locked the topic and said 'we know'.
    Yoshi P responded and said they 'fixed it' but no it's still bad.

    It kills the fun but this design choice is fully intentional, you don't see this in WOW/Tera/Rift even when you have 200 ms.

    This is where you are wrong, every NA/EU Server is in Canada or America, don't know which but does not matter anyways, we all have the same latency/lag. Though i agree he is killable, i have to say, these are pretty much the worst servers i have seen in an pay to play mmo by far.

    I agree, I can keep dodging his plumes and line aoe but he'll eventually hit me even though I'm 100 km's away from the influence area.....And sometimes where I think he would of hit me he doesn't....It seems compleatly random.....It's not very easy dodging a skill that takes 1.5 seconds to cast with a 1 second delay. =/ It's doable but it's not really fair now is it? >_>

    Edit:"Also I've been in groups that get past the heart on the first try, Everyone knows what they are doing....They beat Garuda with the latency issues after all, Everyone at this point has the skill to dodge everything they need to, but even though we get so close after that we can't getback to the same phase on our 2nd, 3rd go.....Why? is it because we are unskilled the real answer is...No...It's just terrible coding and it needs to be fixed....otherwise this will be the only reason I stop playing this game and it's a shame, I'm really enjoying it." >_>
