I'd say it takes some degress of skill to predict each weight of world and move 1 second before it comes, I guess because you can't do this it means something ?
Titan has pattern of attacks you can follow, the same everytime no change, you just have to work it out

The limit on posting is very very annoying in these forums and we should all just ignore the official ones and use an unofficial forum for talks like this. You are presuming I have not done or is able to predict patterns which is false, I have been doing dungeons just to help out peeps get by them as they are having trouble with tanks etc.
You are missing the point with your blind defense of the situation and ignoring what I am saying. Go back read my previous post as an edit was the only way I could reply to you at the time.
Getting around crappy mechanics or technical issues does not equate skill and that is what I am saying.
Like others are saying this is more than likely due to server side checks as it is not all client side, and we all know why it isn't client all side heh!

ok so I am from a european guild (Black Horizon on Shiva) and we have like 110-140ms to the servers (ping 184.107.107.176) and we managed to kill this boss tonight. Our blackmage died in the middle of the heart phase and we were not able to ressurrect him for longer than ~10seconds. So yeah, we basically did the boss with 7 people, had like 8 stomps in the end and only 3 people survived this madness.
Now Coeurl is an american server so you shouldn't have the same amount of lag as we do -> it's not unkillable, just annoying as f.... :/

It's like this for everything and I live about 30min away from the montreal's data center. I can literally walk 5 feet+ from a red area and still get hit, or walk behind a mob away from a frontal AoE and get hit 3 sec later when i'm completely behind it and have been for awhile. I'm surprised I don't see more posts about it all over the place it seems to be like this for a ton of people for anything from random mobs to dungeon fights.
Yeah you basically have to know the pattern and generally move as the move comes out or sometimes even a bit before. It's a tad ridiculous at present, you might as well be doing some of that fight with no visual indicators with how it currently works.

I've given up Titan. I guess I won't continue my SQ's and just Fate my way up to 50. So disgusted!
It's unclear to me whether this is some sort of bug or if the encounters were only tested with zero latency. Getting hit my things I'm clearly out of has been an issue all the way through the game but it's only when hitting Titan that it starts to feel like a brick wall. I'm sure server first guilds will be able to work around (Or just drop people who don't have amazing connections.) and time their movement since it's easy to avoid if you're already running before he casts anything. This isn't a giant issue now since most people aren't to Titan hard yet, but when it becomes obvious to the wider community just how buggy endgame is right now it will be a major issue.

I can't agree with the OP and the title of this thread, because titan is killable even with those latency issues. I'm a european player and in 3-4 hours raid i get hit around 1-3 times. But this doesn't mean that nothing is wrong, i'm sure players who live near the server farm will have a much larger time frame to evade those attacks. I would like to see this fixed, but i don't get my hopes up. SE promised to resolve those issues when we told them in 1.0, and see what they did, they still skrew some customers over, just not as much as before i guess.
Things got better, and i'm sure things got A LOT better for some players. But not for those who don't live in canada or next to it.
Still, Titan is killable and most of the times people get hit, they are at fault. But latency issues doesn't make it easier for those people.

Titan may be killable, not through skill, but attrition. You just have to keep doing it until someone doesn't get inconveniently lag-smashed.
It's not very satisfying to beat him, because I know the only reason my team won was because the server decided not to screw us over after 40 minutes of silliness. Which is a real shame, because it would be a pretty fun fight if it were fair.
