Cannot see Mineral Deposits

Steps:
1. I have activated Prospect and do not see any Mineral deposits on my minimap nor can I find any on the ground anywhere.
2. I went through the gate the quest told me to, and several guides I have read online have indicated there should be mineral deposits here.
3. I have watched other players hitting things with their pickaxes, I know they're mining deposits, but I can't see anything.
4. I have already attempted logging out and then logging back in but this hasn't helped yet.
