Fates need to die in a fire as exp focused content. I think they should reduce fate exp, add some other form of reward or increase the seals reward. Then increase leve and instance content exp and possibly any other contents's exp i'm forgetting that actually requires some effort, gear, brain power from the player. Maybe fates could be harder but as the most popular form of exp it's just too easy with the masses of players mobbing the poor monsters.

As for everyone's suggestions I don't think FATEs should have their experience reward nerfed. I think it would be a better idea to reduce their spawn time so they're a little less common than they are now. I feel FATEs should be more like these interesting public events that appear on occassion rather than there always being one available. Even when there isn't one in the zone, one will appear less than half a minute. I think there should at least be a 3 to 5 minute gap between a FATE appearance in each zone, or longer.
i dont think the exp need to be changed for fates, the other leveling options that should be more competitive and fates less common and maybe scale better with players.
fates need to have a good experience but it can't be the answer to everything ingame.
I think it would be nice if Rest exp bonus could grant bonus exp for dungeon completion.
so people who play casually can still level up via dungeons, instead of being forced into fates on the random few hours a day they have to play.
I actually prefer XP'ing in dungeons. Getting the extra XP from a player who is in there for the first time is icing on the cake. It's even more fun when the newbie listens and is honestly appreciative of your patience. It kinda makes the longer trip worthwhile, and makes me want to re-queue again.
Luckily, I'm a tank. Helps the community, I suppose.
I think the only thing I'd like to see from lower-level instances is for them to give Grand Company Seals. (Doesn't necessarily need to happen at 50, though.)
I really like running the dungeons. I don't really know of an easier way to get gear to help with my main story as a conjurer. I have also used them to get a few levels so I could continue my main story qusts![]()
I agree about adjusting the exp from dungeons. I absolutely LOVELOVE doing dungeons for some loot and just to experiance more group play.But there was no reason for me to do a dungeon more than once when leveling because it was ssoo time consuming and slow compared to questing/doing fates. Rather weird.
Better rewards would be awesome also <3
Also, not just because I would enjoy there being more incentive for myself, but new players will have trouble later on most definitely.
