[Unofficial] Thank You to some good people..

We have had a lot of hate threads on some people.. well.. 'playing bad' and just posting some horrible stuff on people. So...

I wanted to start this thread as a thank you to some of the players that I have come across in recent dungeons that were simply fantastic!

I encourage everyone to do the same here as well when you find some great people in dungeons using the DF..

For example my last group in Brayflox a thank you goes out to:
Herr Starr: Fantastic job tanking! Kept hate off me and the dps flawlessly!
Shib Ikanu and Kielan Sparks: You both did great DPS and when I got in a bind as heals I got backup from our SMN!

Thank you all for a great run as no one died. We did have some close calls now and then but we backed each other up and had a great run..

Kudos to you!

Obviously I can't name everyone I have ever partied with at this point. But hopefully starting with this thread we can all start giving some shout outs when we can.

My very first time doing Brayflox we had a Legacy player tell us exactly what to do. Its nice there's people that chat in the duty finder groups and give advice. I just wish there was cross world friend listing.

Okay I'll toss one out!

The best duty finder party I've had to date was in a Garuda (Normal) consisting of a warrior named Gold Lion and a monk and white mage. Though the fight took nearly an hour to complete it was worth it because the members were pleasant to work with. Gold Lion stood out especially because although he was a legacy player, given his darklight armor on day 3 of release, and had done the fight before he was unfazed by the mistakes made during the fight going as far as to keep everyone's spirits up by ensuring us it was all a learning experience. Sure enough, after some trial and error, we won after a quick bathroom break despite the fact I queued as an arcanist with very limited AoE ability for plumes. Anyone could have jumped ship after seeing newbies, an arcanist, and several deaths in a story fight but for sticking with us til the end you and everyone else in the party, gets a gold star in my book!

Good to see others have had some great experiences that they wanted to share. Lets keep it up and take some names down as well. We are all players and adventurers of the game over different worlds... This is a good time to let them know how much we appreciate them for doing nothing more than performing their jobs to the best that they can..

I feel the same way. Some groups are phenomenal, and I usually end up adding to my friends list afterward. Did Titan the other day, all 1st timers, and of course we wiped a few times, but no one complained, or turned into a douche-nazi master controller barking orders and insults at everyone. It was a good time, and we ended up defeating him. Friend'd all of them, and we said we'd be looking for each other when it was Garuda's turn next.

I simply love it when you get a positive group, and it goes by so much more smoothly, and you end u learning a lot more that way, and in turn, grow. We all know the other side of the coin, as soon as you step in, the "mouth" will start going off, making everyone uncomfortable. Talks trash the whole way through, nit picks everyone's tactics and just spews insults. What a way to be. I truly wish we had a /kick option sometimes.

I thank all the people that I had good runs with at the end. The bad ones..well...I usually just say nothing and leave. Here's an extra thanks to the good ones, though.
