People acting like 7 servers are open and the other 20 are closed, I understand you want to play with your existing friends but you can't choose a different server and get some new online friends after all it is a MMO that you play with others just not your friends.

I only purchased this game to play with my friend.

I cannot play with my friend. They even stated, in the creation menu, to make sure you select the same server.

I don't desire to make new "virtual friends".

I really feel like you're missing the point here.

You are implying that people are being unreasonable over the fact that they cannot play with friends. Can't even make a character on servers where there friends are.

Saying that we should simply shrug it off and play on other servers when the entire point was to play with our friends is completely unreasonable on your part.

Perhaps you don't have friends. Regardless you should immolate your router.

What is all this anger towards not being able to join a server your friends are on? Its very much common. Any Mmo with a server based system will have FULL servers which you cannot create characters on, which also happens to have your friends on as well.

Also if your 'Friends' truly want to play with you, they would not mind creating new characters on empty servers for you all to have fun together. Otherwise just wait for an option to transfer servers later on while you're playing Solo in the meantime.
