why do you think you deserve a refund because you can't play on a certain server. I don's see how that's a scam, that's like going to an amusement park and getting mad because the ride your friends are on is full and you have to wait for the next one then demanding a refund. You can play the game as intended. There were issues last week, issues have been fixed for the majority of players.

The game is done. In fact it looks great and I've yet to run into any terrible glitches or bugs. FFXI 5 years in had more bugs than this game lol Within another week or so they'll be rolling out the server transfers (with any luck there'll be a period where they're free) so just roll a character on one of the 20 open servers and feel lucky you' aren't rolling on a JP side of things where over half their servers are locked to character creation. You want to know how popular the game is? One of the brand new worlds they added is already locked to character creation. The only thing I wish they had done was a World Pass system like FFXI has that lets you invite your friends to your server.

Welcome to the world of MMOs. If you want to play in the first few weeks you better expect server problems. And it's by no means a scam. It's common knowledge that MMOs often have problems at the begging.

So, next time you by an MMO in the first few weeks. Keep in mind that there will most likely be server problems.

That's BS cause i played a few MMO's at start and 1.0 was well prepared for the amount of people but sadly after the free month passed people dropped... atleast thats how it was on palamecia before it became excalibur. Aion was another.. the only servers that had issues were pvp based servers.. and not all were pvp based much like wow it had servers that didnt auto flag you to outside your factions areas.. if a pvp server crashes that just shows you how many wanted or hoped for a stronger pvp based game. 2.0 is the only one i had issues with.. also all wow expansions didnt have issues only some pvp servers... most pve servers dont get as heavy as pvp for some weird reason. i also didnt have any issues with others at launch.. such as phantasy star and about 2 others... which i dropped cause they got boring real fast... dont even have the discs anymore.

This is a pretty dumb statement - almost everyone plays an mmo to play with their RL friends. That's asinine and retarded that somebody would say "ah forget about it make some new friends"

Yours is a pretty dumb statement. I don't play online games to play with RL friends. I play them to get away from RL. Sometimes I play with RL friends but that's not why I play them.

It should be noted that it says in the TOS they reserve the right to withhold access without explanation. It's not a scam, you agreed to it when you registered your game code. If you didn't register the code, then it's refundable.
