I just seen a guy running around the realm saying he bought gil from a gil seller. Is anything being done to those people as well for buying the gil from them? I understand half the people are younger and such but are they doing anything to the enablers?

Yes it is. A message I got back from SE in-game said they are investigating one seller because of the sheer number of complaints. Keep reporting them. Every time one pops it's ugly little head up, help SE smash it. Don't forget to mention the world you received the spam chat post in along with the bot's name.

- Sorry, reading fail. I doubt it, unless SE can track player purchases in-game and flag anything unusual. You also risk your account by going to those sites. No doubt full of viruses and malware.

There are already a stupid amount of these guys on my ever growing blacklist. I do hope SE starts swinging the ban hammer on these guys..banning entire accounts/IPs and not just the individual characters.

That said..the even sadder part is that these sites exist solely because people purchase the gil from them..if people were not buying than they would not exist in every major game that launches.
