Help with how to do dungeons.

Well today was an awesome day in terms of my time with FF XIV, because I finished my first dungeon today. It was sastasha seagrot. When I first got to La Noscea low and behold I got my first Free Company invite. Within seconds I was in my first party. Unfortunately this brought along a lot of challenges with it. Trouble communicating, especially using ps3 (although I did learn some importants like changing chat to "party). So after a while they shoved off, and it took me a little while to figure out that I had to form the necessary party to do the dungeon. (Dungeon was frickin awesome, has me really excited about the rest of the game, but that's another story). So my question finally is, is there an easier way to form the necessary party for a dungeon? It's actually kinda hard to find the necessary player classes to do the dungeon for a new player. (I do learn well through struggling though) So can I group message my free company? If so how. Any tips would be boss.

Use duty finder and start praying, if you sign up as dps it might take very long time to get into a dungeon.
Or you can try to use /shout ( or /yell ) and ask around, not sure how it works on ps3 with typing etc, if your in a free company etc try ask in it.

Really don't think there is anymore you can do then that.

My main class is Archer, I stopped that at level 17 then went Conjurer just so I can almost insta-queue as a healer.

During the busy hours as DPS, you are better trying to get a group manually (shout/yell).

It's funny you mentioned that, I switched to conjurer just on a whim to see what class switching was like. I gained a few levels and went back, but it turns out learning heal was just pure dumb luck when it came to the dungeon, we wouldn't have made it through without it. Well thanks for the info.
