This is getting to be laughable

Its been a week now since I've actually been able to log in and play for more than 20 minutes. I'm allowed to play for 20 minutes with serious lag spikes, and then finally I get disconnected with an error code 90000. I have contacted my ISP (RCN) twice in the last two days and they explain to me that they are aware of the problem, however there is nothing they can do from their end. The fact that I am getting more information about a video game from my ISP than the actual company who made the game, is to me, a joke. The only response we've received from Squeenix is a moderator closing a thread and listing it as "resolved" when there are clearly thousands of people having this problem. If there are hundreds if not thousands of people complaining on the forums of this problem, imagine how many aren't even bothering to come on to the forums. How many players are you throwing aside? 5,000? 10,000? 50,000? I really enjoy this game, but this is becoming ridiculous.

Yeah, I have horrifying lag too, I don't get d/ced. I'm starting to wonder if we're being redirected to japanese servers now, and no I don't mean that in a trollish manner.

I think its pretty easy. You get a person to make a phone call to the ISP, tell them that your customers are having issues playing it.

Honestly, my cousin who played FFXI right when it launched these 90000 issues are almost exactly the same. He believe very much that the problem is not enough ports are opened from their end. so ports get filled and you get 90000 when the ports can't handle anymore. This is probably why i can get into a JP server on night hours but can never get on a NA server.
NA/EU servers need more ports opened.
