People dont pay for the sub so they can work in a virtual sweatshop. They pay to play a game, relax and watch their pixels do awesome stuff like slaying dragons.

The crafting system in this game is way more complex, fleshed out and more fun than the combat system. My signature proves that some people do play this game for the crafting more than the combat. And you're more than welcome to go slay all of the dragons you want. Just don't expect to get rich doing it. This is an MMORPG. It's a digital alternate universe. It's not Diablo.

In real life people do crafting as a way to have fun and relax. I don't know many people who go to war or do guard duty for fun. That's a literal sweat shop.

Lol @ previous threads containing gil spent sellswords that lacked DoL/DoHs. After the main scenario and side quests your "mighty warrior" is pretty gil-less after a couple weeks or so.
