Thread: Query re adding ARR CE key to 1.0 account

So, I am on the free trial for ARR as I owned 1.0 - and am wondering if I add a retail key for ARR, will I get the 30 free days? I know I wouldn't if I added an ARR CE key to a retail ARR copy but just want to check on the slightly different situation outlined.

It won't allow you to add the CE key, I sold mine to a guildie and upgraded for the mogstation, unless you want to open a new service account and do it that way however I didn't as I already had a character.

Square would rather cancel tickets than respond to them, you might be better off just selling your digital collector's edition to someone else. I had my first ticket cancelled regarding this exact same issue (which is silly since it is the only MMO I've played where you couldn't add another registration code). Before I was willing to eat the $30US difference, but since Square opted to just delete tickets instead of resolving them I won't settle for less than a full refund for the digital CE (don't care who they get to pay) or the SE upgrade and $30 in game services (2 months or $30 in game crystal things for when the store goes active). I didn't even realize it until the game went live that they were running $20 for an upgrade from SE to CE.

As an MMO it is really good, but as a company Square needs to get a grip on customer service.

Thanks all - that is really crazy - but appreciate the info. I will go digital upgrade and let my son create a 2nd account with the CE key - gives me someone to play with for a bit I guess.
