Either make dodging AoEs possible, or make them not instant-kills

I would assume they are working on it then.

This was pointed out to them months and months ago in beta and clearly was not addressed. I believe the accepted bug forum only means they're acknowledging that you filled out the form right, not that anything has been investigated or is going to be done about it. I don't have a huge amount of hope for a quick resolution on this.

Not really, you can experience it in the open world, there just aren't enough one shot abilities on a short timer outside of the duty finder for most people to care. There is a nice gif around of it happening on a goblin aoe.

I only have this problem when I use duty finder. I do not know exactly how duty finder works, but I do know that I rarely play with people from my server.
So I ask this, If I normally play on a NA server, will duty finder only place me with other NA players that play near the server that I play on?

What if this is not the case (which I'm fine with because I would love to play with other people from across the world), would I ever be placed into an instance not near me locally? And if so, could that be a reason for the problem at hand?

This is most fucked thing ever, I play from australia on JP server, I can be OUT OF THE RED for a full second, (I have sub 200ms ping) and still get it.

Its beyond rediculous that On the twin adder dungeon (lvl44) where that crystal boss shoots giant lasers, that the ONLY time i can move out of it is if i happen to be running already.
I have the reaction time of a jet fighter pilot for christs sake, I clearly made it well out of the red targeting field and yet still every single aoe hits me and I'm about ready to give up on this game because there is no way in hell im raiding with this crap.

Titan (Hard) lags so bad it reminds me of ifrit in 1.0 lag. Even people in my FC with amazingly built computers of geek-hood complain about the lag in that instance.

P.S I blame the crappy overloaded Duty finder instance servers.

I can vouch aswell for this not being an internet problem. It's very clear that it's SE's servers that are screwed up. I have 100mb/s line and my whole free company is experiencing the exact same things

This has happened to ne a bunch of times on Ifrit Hard mode. Radiant plume, I move out of the way (and I can see my char in the safe zone), still die or lose 80% HP.
