go back to world of casual-craft.
They need to add a dislike button for people's comments. Telling people to leave a game because part of it, a very important part, is broken, only shows how shortsighted or just plain stupid you are.
I, like many others, hope this can be solved because I enjoy the game but raiding under these conditions would be impossible.
You're always going to have the idiots that defend any complaint on the forums, because God forbid anyone point out anything wrong with their precious game. Hey, guess what, LenneSari? We clearly like the game more than you because we're trying to make it a better game, where you're like the husband who refuses to believe his wife is sick until she's being lowered into a grave. They need to add a dislike button for people's comments. No I agree with LenneSari ,go back to your other scrub mmo's.
That's exactly what everybody did with FF14 1.0.
If every one that complains leaves the game will be perfect.
This game is for FF fanboys and butt hurt ex wow players that make it their duty to flame WOW on every forum they can.
But truth be told I'm pretty sure most people will indeed go somewhere else if this is not getting fixed.
Positive side the server load will be reduced.
I'm not looking forward to Titan. I did that dragon boss in Brayflox and I had this exact same problem.
Indeed. I'll be one of them. This doesn't even affect me personally that badly except that there's always someone in my group, ANY group that has just enough latency to where this becomes an issue. It's infuriating and ridiculous. Who sets their server to update location every .3 seconds?! I've played ancient ass games that didn't do that!
Hell if it's to ease the server load, sure, fine! But make it more accurate at the very least inside dungeons!

Looks like SE is going to nerf Titan at this rate. I wonder what % of the population that can't beat Titan is.
Someone mentioned that perhaps your ISP is affecting your ability to beat Titan. Your PC build could be a factor as well, my bro spent like thousands on his graphics card, and oh boy it was a world of difference in performance. Some brand called titan something, not sure, my bro handles anything tech related.
We actually upgraded our dsl service to play these sorts of games better.
I get the feeling that people don't want to do things like this to play a game, makes sense I suppose.
And before you ask, yes I beat Titan, as a Black Mage, of course it was a perfect run where no one died. We wiped like 5 times but didn't give up.
The problem isn't ISPs or builds or anything like that. Those can make problems WORSE, absolutely, but the baseline issue is that the server updates your location every .3 seconds. That translates to an absolute minimum ping of 300ms just due to how the server works. Take into account that for someone like me on the West Coast (And that every MMO I have ever fucking played has had proper servers for each region and didn't group all of NA + EU into fucking EASTERN CANADA.) with 90-100 ping to Montreal and that means I, on an excellent connection and a very powerful computer, have a baseline ping of 390ms-400ms, which is completely unacceptable.
(cont)
(continued, 1,000 character limit on a FORUM is also some of the worst design I've ever seen, what the hell, SE?)
You can get around it by forcing a server update by using an ability or something, but that's just good players compensating for absolutely horrifically bad design and logistics on SE's part.
And even then, even with all that, I personally do just fine, but the bigger issue is in large (8+) groups where you know someone, somewhere is going to have a bad connection. Or perhaps today their ISP is acting up a little so instead of the occasional lag spike the game becomes totally unplayable. It's just... so bad.
