It's not a bug. SE made Need based on your role. Meaning Gladiator and Marauder can no longer lot DPS pieces they could otherwise wear (like Foestriker, etc.) and DPSs can not lot on Tank role armor they could otherwise wear (like MRD/GLD/LNC specific gear. While it's true LNC can wear it, it is sturdy tank armor, not DPS). I'm afraid we'll have to cope with this.
