Title is a joke, I think.

I do realize the ability has no cost but MP isn't a huge commodity when played effectively anyway.

Do you use this ability? I don't like it. Sure, every bit of damage helps but it doesn't seem to do that much damage or any worthwhile hate.

What I'd like to see is to give it a bigger range and either give it more enmity or put it in a combo with flash so that CoS->Flash (or vise versa) generates a truckload of enmity.

I'm not saying GLD needs more AOE enmity when people are targeting properly, but I'm trying to figure out if this ability even belongs on my bars. 16 buttons isn't as much space as you think it is when you start out.

The ability costs 0 MP, 0 TP, and doesn't respect the GCD. Choosing not to use it is choosing to not add the extra damage (however minimal) and extra enmity (however minimal) to the fight. Also, remember the DOT itself isn't too much in its own right, but the on-use attack delivers a little higher potency, 100 I believe. Again, nothing extreme but I struggle to come up with any good reason to not use it on CD.

Theoretically, you should use it on cd between globals in every situation, and save it for aoe when needed. I find though that more often than not , especially single target with aggro well in hand, that I don't bother.

2) can be used anytime no GCD
3) helps hold aoe threat
4) zero reason not to use, just gotta find a button for it

I love the animation and the effect, but i cant help but feel that it is lacking for our final skill learnt (aside from hallowed ground which is a-maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaziiiiiiiiiing)

Would definitely love a hate boost or a lil extra damage considering its on a 30sec cooldown.

Back on topic though - If it's off GCD I can't think of a reason not to use it, regardless of how little damage it does.
