You don't need to emphasise anything since my eyes and mind are good enough to read. Thaumaturge can have a lot of meanings. Some litteraly interpret it as folding up of the earth. Others read it as miracle worker, saint or magician.
Now let's be honest and try to compare this irrespective from the whole FF lore and history with blue or red mage. Now if you were to name it that way people with no previous experience with FF wouldn't have a clue what it is about.
But fine if you add so much values to colors as a characteristic of class name, then go ahead. For me it just looks like a lack of inspiration, there are great names out there which can people inspire or encourage to try such a class. But there are already enough colors out their in the real world, so I'm pretty sure that people with no previous FF experience (of which I expect this game to be open to as well) won't get overexcited over such a dull name.
Honestly, you're the one that came into the thread and started insulting the OP instead of just giving your opinion in a constructive way that you could create a discussion from. You could have gone about it much nicer. I get that you think the names are Generic, but honestly the majority of players want those names like Black Mage, Red Mage, and White Mage back. I understand that you don't, but most do. It's something familiar, something people loved in previous games and want to be able to truly play it in an open world. My buddy loves Black Mage. He can identify that Black Mage = I'm going to tear shit up with the craziest of spells. I honestly don't give a crap about the names, as long as the classes are identifiable and are put together well.
