BLM cross class skills. ..

I know as a BLM u can get Raging Strikes, and Hawks Eye. Are these viable with BLM? Aren't they for physical attacks, not magic attacks? Had anyone used them and noticed dmg output difference? Anyone do the math? Just trying to understand if these are worth putting in my BLM rotation. Thanks for all the input.

Yep, when you crit hit a flare with Raging Strikes up it's pretty satisfying. No DPS can come close to the damage that can do (bar limit breaks of course).

Personally I have Raging Strikes, Quelling Strikes, Hawk's Eye, Virus and Physick as my 5 abilities although tbh I've never used Physick since BLM cures are terrible and I've not found anything resistant enough to warrant Hawk's Eye use.

But doesn't hawks eye only work for physical Attack. ..? That's what it says in description.

No, it says it increases accuracy and dex.

Spells can "miss."


you never really have a need for it, though. If you have on level gear/fighting on level mobs you're never going to miss..

To be fair it does say "increases physical accuracy" but the description is a bit wrong. Accuracy as a whole is just one stat, so it'll work for magic attacks too.
