Scholars in end game?

Well i know the theory that that 1 white mage and 1 scholar should be ideal but some are saying that stacking 2 whites mages if better than the preemptive shields because of the stacking of the regens from the white mages.

Also the few screen shots ive seen from bahamuts coil shows the group having 2 white mages instead of 1 of each.

I guess ill really wanting someone from a guild thats actually doing bahamuts coil to pop in and tell if their group is progressing through the coil with a scholar.

We're currently working on Coil Turn 4 and we use 1WHM 1SCH. Scholars are very good.

Awesome thanks for the answer makes me feel better i dint see any reason scholar woudnt be good to have but with so many people having doubts it nice to get a reply from someone actually doing the hardest content available.
