Kk here's some of my crazy ideas. (hopefully no one suggested these yet)
Gathering Classes:
Treasure Hunter:
* Main Hand: Shovel (dig for treasure)
* Off Hand: Key (unlocking chest obviously)
Florist: (lame name but couldnt find better)
* Main Hand: 1-hand (small) Scythe / Cutting tool (Find plants / Seeds / Soil to plant in pots)
* Offhand: 1-hand (small) Spade (unknown, digging up stuff?)
(Obviously, pots etc need some kind of housing so, bring on the company houses)
Craftclass:
Enchanter: - Mainly to enchant Weapons & gear with bonus stats, Signtures for crafted items.
* Main Hand: Infusing tool??? (to infuse enchant to gear / weapon)
* Offhand: Carving Needle. (For inscribing Signatures to Weapons & Gear, like FFXI's signature crystals)

I would like to see a Gardening Class. It would be nice to be able to grow my own produce. I would assume this could be incorporated in a town gardening location or mog house or guild house.
Maybe not that far. The day SE implement the Original jobs (whatever system they use), we can see some new classes added too.
For me, I would like to see Summoner, Dark Knight and Dragoon, as Alastar said, WITH a Wyvern =)

I'd like to see most of the jobs from FF Tacics Advance, and Dark Knight as an advance class for MRD!![]()
I don't know if there exist any crowdcontrol(CC) class in FF.
I but as FFXIV is a PvE game I think it could have a CC class.
A class that is focused on controlling the enemy would be a greate fun to play.
This could be done i lots of diffrent ways: physical controll or mind controll.
It could be tide to elements like wind and ice.
It could be done with net and webb.
So the grafic could look realy diffrent depending on what fit's FF.
The effects of CC can be realy varied:
single target; multi target; tied to the ground.
Works as long as you don't hit them; work even if you damage them;
Gives bonus on attack for the poeple that atack them (or no bonus)
Make targets unable to move, but can still use ranged attack (or total imoble)
Just naming some of the possible variations.
I dont know why most people when they hear about "what new classes u want" they talk about "old" classes from FFXI.
I would like to see something brand fresh and new, that we didnt see in any FF before.
But i get your point guys, some of old FF classes would be nice to see here too!
