I think my chokobo is broken

So i was able to get my first mount today and for some reason i can't dismount

Im stuck on this chokobo i don't know what to to

I can't cast anything
I can't talk to Npc

Someone plz help i love my chokobo but i want to get of him

Yeah that dismounts me when I go to grindia but when I go back to the world and mount up i can't get off him

There is small icon at top of the screen you need to select to dismount

Can also set the whistle onto your hotbar, using it will toggle on/off the chocobo.
Or hit start, Companion, can summon/unsummon it there as well.

is there anyway to make it so i can dismount when talking to npcs or when casting so it does it instantly
An option in the menu somewhere that im not seeing?

You could probably do it with a custom macro, but I do not have experience in macros, as I haven't used any yet (on a PS3, and my keyboard connected to PS3 is far away from the couch)

Yeah I can't figure it out either i must be missing an option or something

Default dismount button on gamepad is Left analog down

That's what I personally find easiest, I have the mount as the "-" key on the hotbar on every class so just press when I went to get on/off the mount.

It's a shame we can't just chat to NPCs from on the mounts, but using a hotkey has made that less of an issue for me.
