They are also deleting many of them because they are not actual requests for technical support...... like this one.

Their support staff are already overwhelmed without having to dig through threads that don't belong in order to find actual support requests. If someone has an issue, they are supposed to search for threads that already cover their issue. If they find one, they are supposed to reply to them. New threads should only be created if the search returns no pertinent results.

These steps help to reduce forum clutter, making it easier for the support staff to see what needs attention. The longer a single thread is, the more attention it is likely to get. Making numerous threads about the same issues is counter-productive. Such counter-productivity can only be controlled by deleting threads until people start working with the system, instead of against it.
