    /hood command and hiding helmets.

This is mainly for dual-slotted items like Darklight cowl and the tank armour Darklight. Why are we unable to lower the hood or hide the helmet? It really bugs me that my character is hidden under this robe when all it would take to fix this is lowering the hood.

You gave us /visor how about /hood?

personally, i hate the 2 slot armor bits altogether, their helmet components suck.

not to mention i can get more stats out of using the lower level armor and a up to date helm in most cases.

I agree with OP, and this is the reason.

I can't stand it for the fact since level 21 I've been wearing nothing but cotton cowls. I have many head pieces that would boost my Intelligence, Crit, spell speed but I can't wear them because wearing a lower level chest piece negates that fact. So i'm rolling with a level 39 cowl with 7 headpieces that could easily boost my traits 10 points. I love the BLM, and the whole "mysterious " and "dark" look is only cool for so long. I know I can get the battle mages armor from a Mayflox but I've ran it so many times I'm missing the chest piece only and now that i have this new cowl its useless for me to go for it. Disciples of Magic need some armor rework.

The problem with hoods is that your hair "disappears" while the hood is up. To make the hood go On and Off would take too many resources according to Yoshida in an interview some months ago.

The Darklight Armor and all of the armors similar to it (Heavy armors) have those awful helmets that make it seem like your character is trapped forever, not being able to move the head at all. They should allow us to hide that ugly helmet.

SE has always offered excuses for things it didn't want to implement.

    THIS!
why do the hoods have to be built in anyways? traditionally hoods were separate things, why are there no hoods by themselves? why can't i wear a hood with my robe? and for that mater why can't i wear glasses under my hood?
now i get the technical reasons (each body slot corresponds to a part of the model which get's replaced when the item is loaded, the code may well depend on this separations so having one model overlap another body area would cause all sorts of issues.) but i also know that where there's a will, there's a way, and it's not that they CAN'T it's that they don't WANT TO.

I could also see it being an issue with cats, as the hoods all have ear slots and would probably be hard to animate with that.
