Thanks for this.Titan is not as much of a reaction fight as it is a prediction fight
In each phase he uses abilities in very distinct patterns.
Phase 1 is just tumult and landslide over and over
Phase 2, when he lands he will use Weight of the Land about 5 seconds later, then from on its Landslide -> Tumult -> Weight of the land repeating
Phase 3 he will use Landslide, then Weight of the land then i think tumult then bombs then it repeats
Once you learn these patterns it isn't a case of "Oh this stuff appeared under my feet, better run out" because that isn't going to work for you. It's a case of "Oh he just used Tumult, better use sprint or start moving early"
The visual indicators on the ground don't match the cast time of an ability. The cast bar ending is when the ability triggers. The visual indicators and the cast bars are not in sync, the cast starts before the visual, and ends before the visual vanishes. You can have latency on your end to, but .1 to .2 second delay doesn't prevent you from reacting unless you aren't paying attention. If you want max heads up watch their cast bars.

I'm on a Server in my region (NA on Levithian), and i'll agree, Weight of the Land is just way too lag sensitive, the cast time should be about half a second longer because when the indicator appears now, half the time you're too late to dodge it, and while memorizing the pattern might work for Melee DPS, all casters and healers especially don't have the abitlity to just stop casting because there is a pattern, and not everyone is going to always dodge every attack and when the already squishy caster gets hit with an attack that takes out 2/3rds of their health moments before or after an unavoidble attack that does half their health over 2-3 hits, it just spells disaster.
The reason the lag issue isn't as bad with Ifrit/Garuda hard mode is because Ifrit's and Garuda's Cast times are almost twice as long as Titan's, and their attack patterns are no where near as aggressive as Titan's constant dodge or die skill spam, kinda funny when you consider Titan-Egi is the tank of the three.
It's random as hell. Sometimes I see it, move immediately out of it and get hit. Other times, I see it, move away and think I'm gonna get hit but don't. I find the only sure-fire way to dodge it, is to know when it's coming and move beforehand.
This is what I get too lol, I can avoid most attacks....but it's so random. I get hit when I know for sure I shouldn't of been hit.>_>

I've had that problem a few times too, it "appears" to the server before it appears to you, that is the best explanation I can give that one. I've managed to live longer as a healer by standing at Titans side away from everyone else, thanks to some helpful advice in one duty finder.

Now I had my luck to have gotten punched off when I moved out way ahead of time ><
Also, I did take notice that the ground spots appeared shortly after the cast bar, id say about .1 or so sec afterwords, give or take.

Titan Party I am in has a few Japanese players also saying they were hit when they were out. Probably once again not a latency thing that is completely on the players end..
Well I got Battleping and even though the actual MS was reduced by 13 (140 -> 127), during boss fights it was a massive difference.
Now I got to rely on other people to not stand in bad stuff.
Well this is listed as an accepted bug so it's acknowledged by SE already:
