Why can't I post or create threads sometimes?

I'm trying to post on my tank forum but I keep getting a message saying either I reached my limit for today or my character level is to low.... But I see others who are lower level than me positing and making threads.

I've made one thread since I joined the forums, maybe this is a Noob question lol but I'm only able to post on the tech support section.

alot of the forums here are locked to players that are below a certain lvl. I believe it is 20 but seeing you are a lvl 39 dunno

Yeah this is BS i've been locked from creating new topics and posts in the forums all week. (Only created 2 topics and posted maybe 3 times outside of tech, you can check my history). My main (at least the one that is on the forums) is 36. I've tried switching characters back and forth (My real main is now level 30) and nothing seems to work. Is there a post amount or medal (the medals above character pictures in forums) that you have to reach before everything is fully unlocked. How is it that everyone else seems to be able to post in all the other topics w/o a problem....

It's based on the level of the character you have selected to post on. There's a sticky in one of the forums (General perhaps) which details the levels and limits; this forum is one of the few exceptions and has no limits as long as you have an active character in the game.

Level-based forum restrictions hit a sour spot for those of us who still can't make characters where we want to play and thus aren't playing the game. The rules are understandable, but circumstances and timing make them disappointing.

The number of threads that can be created and the number of posts that can be made in a 24-hour time period is now restricted based on the level of the main character that has been linked to your forum profile.

Thread Creation Forum Posts
Level 1-14 Unable to create new threads Unable to make a post
Level 15-24 Can post up to three posts per day
Level 25-39 Can create one thread per day Can post up to five posts per day
Level 40-49 Can create up to three threads per day Can post up to 10 posts per day
Level 50 Can create up to five threads per day Can post up to 20 posts per day

It's in you character configuration in the forum.. .You can select 3 "main" classes to show.. I believe is because of that.
