Relic Reborn Instance Battles Should be DF

Just some criticism here for SE: the chimera and hydras battles for A Relic Reborn really need to be supported by the duty finder. As it stands, it is RIDICULOUSLY difficult to get a party off of peak hours.

Don't really see a legitimate reason why these two battles aren't on the DF.

Update again on the Relic Quest pain. Still trying to find a party -- it's peak usage in US right now and NO ONE on Balmung is doing the Hydra battle.

Not to mention the fact that most people only want ranged DPS and monk/dragoon get shafted because of how easy it is to cheese the Triumvirate by running circles around it.

Meh... After trying Ifrit and Garuda for relic through Duty Finder, I'd say it's a blessing in disguise.

Update: still waiting. Managed to find 2 parties in 6 hours, both of which wiped because 1) the tank couldn't figure it out, or 2) they were horribly under geared.

If this were on DF, at least I would have been able to zerg it until I got a tank that wasn't a total joke. This is insane!

SE, you KNOW there is a shortage of tank players, yet you do this? Please, STAHP!

Can we get cost nerfs on the materia first? I'd heal it for ya, but the materia would run me 160+ k gil. I already had to shell out 70k for the weapon >_>

The only way SE could accomplish that is to flood materia in the market and devalue what's already there. That or set a price ceiling for each, which would dramatically reduce supply as people no longer bother to assimilate unless they need a material for their own use. Just kinda sux, but it is what it is.

I've had to drop about 200k between buying the materia, the base weap, the catalyst, and getting someone to meld it, and all of the other nonesense thats gone on with the relic quest.

I'm in the same boat - I've got limited free time and it's often at non-peak hours (no matter where you live! XD ), so getting a non-DF party together is a nightmare and the biggest obstacle to me getting my relic weapon. I want the challenge to come from the battle itself, not from gathering the team to get to the battle. :/
