This. Your best bet is to return your purchase, then either buy the collectors edition for PS3 (digital or physical) or by the CE upgrade for PC if your account isn't already CEUnfortunately, each service account can only hold one PC version and one PS3 version.
The only options to upgrade your 1.0 standard edition service account are 1) Upgrade to collectors with the digital upgrade, 2) Upgrade to collectors with the PS3 collectors edition.
You could try contacting SE support though and check if they can solve it for you, but chances of that are slim.
I recommend selling the CE code and getting the digital upgrade when that option is available.
Since you got the physical CE, I'm guessing you want to keep the toys.
