Mage gear lvl 32+?

Where can I obtain any lvl 32-40 Mage gear in this game, all the quest Npcs offer other classes of gear but not mages ones past lvl 31, I checked the market to lvl 40 and there's nothing! Am I forever bound to the shackles of Brayflox grinding for battle mage armour >>

Your story quest should provide you with some basic level gear. You can also look for armorer/battle merchants in level 30-35 zones, as they will probably sell some basic armor a well. You can also try crafting! But that might take a while.

I've checked with every merchant I've come across and all they sell are velveteen robes, the main story quest (on the lvl 35 section) is giving me no equipment rewards.

The Velveteen is the basic level armor. If you're looking for better then yea, you're stuck in Brayflox or hunting the trade post.

I've never seen the battle Mage stuff on the market which sucks x.x so many runs of Brayflox now and just need the coat, I hate having to fight people for the coat and I just want out the dam dungeon to continue with my life. I'm sick fed up with all the recycled gear so was kind of hoping for the set so I'm not staring at "what I was wearing at lvl 5 but orange" armour.... Came to this dungeon on lvl 33 I'm lvl 37 now and the furthest I got from that in main story terms was Titan so I could summon him, no sides, that's how much I've been there...save me.

Battle mage is unique and untradable gears so you can't buy it from other players. That's why you haven't seen them on market. Run temple of Qarn to get Aeatherial Linen Robe if you get tired of running brayflox. I farmed there quite a while to get a set of cavalry and a set of infantry. But ya, mage's gears is kinda lacking. At level 38, you can get Seer's Cowl, no idea from where as I haven't gotten there yet.

You can typically determine which gear comes from where based on its level and the level requirement to enter a dungeon. Level 38 would be Cutter's Cry. If you're level 37, Sunken Temple will have the best set of upgrades for you, until 38 when Cutter's Cry is available.
