They technically could see everything you send and receive, just like your ISP can (in fact when using the VPN, your ISP can't see as all data sent and received will be encrypted - which is why it won't be throttled as P2P data). This includes websites, passwords entered, anything else online based (while connected to their servers). Their policy is that they keep minimal records, but may sell some information on your usage to selected 3rd parties for advertising (how they make money from the service).

I'm avoiding this solution if at all possible but I'm sure I'm being over paranoid. It's a matter of whether you trust the VPN service and their policy or not. It worries me that because they encrypt everything it could be very difficult to trace if they did mishandle your personal information.
