This guy is speaking the truthi7 930 @ 4.0GHz
6 GB DDR3 RAM
Radeon HD 5850
Given the above specs the game still chugs using the following settings:
1600x900 (windowed)
8xQ MSAA
8 Standard (General Drawing Quality)
3 Standard (Background Drawing Quality)
Lowest Shadows
Depth of Field ON
Ambient Occlusion OFF *-50% FPS. Not exaggerating*
This game is very poorly optimized and suffers from memory leaks over time that leads to the game crashing.
NO ONE is running this game perfectly while maxed out.
The game runs like crap no matter what you have on max. turn the setting down and it gets better but the game runs like crap that much is the truth
My system is nearly identical, though my 930 is not overclocked and I'm running dual 5750's and I'm running into mostly the same issues as you about it chugging, though I traded DoF for higher shadows and background quality but again I still drop frames like crazy. Still sucks even more because I have to run in windowed mode thanks to that inexcusable direct-x bug and loose a entire graphics card of power.i7 930 @ 4.0GHz
