PS3 Standard, PC Collectors - Does the content work with both platforms?

This might be an obvious question, but I haven't been able to find the answer written in black and white anywhere yet, so I'm asking it here.

I'm already a PS3 standard edition owner, and I'm having a great time with the game. The store only had the PS3 edition in stock, but I've been thinking about buying the PC edition as well. Problem is, digital sales are halted, physical copies are few and far between - the only option I can see for me right now is buying the physical collector's edition.

Effectively, when I redeem the code from the CE, will it grant the entire account access to the extra items? Same goes for buying the digital CE upgrade (if I decide to wait for the cheaper standard edition) - does that upgrade the entire account, or just the PS3 version that I already own?

I would have thought that the items would be universal, as it is a universal account, but given that both platforms have to have a separate game registration code, I just want to double-check first.

You will just need to purchase the game so you can download the client to your PC from there you will just pair the game to your existing service account. You do not need to start another service account as that will mess everything up.

So since you will have your character on your PC client also you will get your CE items as well
